Key Information

Please be respectful and do not speak out of turn. Anyone is permitted to give public comment at this meeting, so there will be time to share your thoughts. The maximum length of public comment for each side is 3hrs, with a maximum of 2 minutes per speaker. Our goal is to have the entire 3 hours filled with comments in support of the appeal.

Since voting is listed as part of the process, it appears that a decision will be made at the end of the hearing.

The meeting is held at an inconvenient time for a majority of working class individuals. This is not a date or time that any of the appellants requested.

Public Comment Guidelines

  • All members of the public must be in person to provide comments, so virtual testimony will not be taken.

  • Comments provided should be relevant to the application or project

    • Comments such as “I’m anti AI” will not be helpful in the success of the appeal.

  • Public comments will be limited to 2 minutes per speaker.

  • No videos or slideshows will be shared during the public comment period. If a speaker wishes to reference/share information with Commissioners during their time, copies of the materials must be provided digitally to City Planning staff 24 hrs prior to the hearing or 12 copies printed and handed to staff prior to speaking.

  • It’s prohibited to cede time to another speaker, to allow as many participants as possible.
